KIKU APPLE
NOVO
PATROCINADOR DA EQUIPE BRASILEIRA DE BOBSLED

KIKU Apple Company é o
novo patrocinador da Equipe
Brasileira de Bobsled. Maçãs KIKU são
cultivadas no Rio Grande do Sul. KIKU
está a procura de maiores parcerias no Brasil com
o objetivo de aumentar o
seu volume de vendas.
KIKU Apple é administrada pelos irmãos Jurgen
e Thomas Braun que dividem o
controle da empresa, que fica situada na região do
Tirol, ao norte da
Italia. O tipo de maçã KIKU foi descoberta
pelo familia Braun no Japão em
1990, que é similar a maçã Fuji, porém
maior em tamanho e de um sabor
fantástico. As maçãs KIKU são
vendidas atualmente na Europa e nos EUA. Com o
crescimento da KIKU, a CBDG acredita que a parceria também
cresça junto com
a empresa.
KIKU entrou em contato com a CBDG interessada na equipe
Brasileira de
Bobsled durante as competições em Turim. A
empresa queria patrocinar uma
equipe nova, como a do Brasil, pois eles compreendem os sacrificios
e as
barreiras que os atletas enfrentam diariamente. Os irmãos
Braun visitaram a
Equipe Brasileira de Bobsled na Vila Olímpica e criaram
um cartão postal
para promover a equipe e mostrar o seu apoio. O cartão

Os irmãos Braun fizeram um convite a equipe para
retornar a Italia em
Novembro para participar do Festival Annual da Maçã na
cidade de Bolzano.
KIKU planeja em continuar sua parceria com a CBDG visando
os próximos Jogos
Olímpicos em Vancouver 2010.

KIKU APPLE IS A NEW SPONSOR OF THE

KIKU Apple Company is a new sponsor of the Brazilian
bobsled team. KIKU apples are currently grown in Rio Grande
do Sul. KIKU is
searching for more partners in Brazil to sell their apples
with the KIKU
trademark.
Jurgen and Thomas Braun are two brothers running the small
company from the
Tirol region of northern Italy. Their father discovered the
KIKU apple in
Japan in 1990 and protected the variety which is similar to
a Fuji apple but
is larger, crisper and juicier. The apples are sold in Europe
but are coming
to the Americas. CBDG is hoping that the relationship will
grow as KIKU
grows worldwide.
KIKU approached CBDG about the 4-man bobsled team during
competitions at the
Torino games in February. They wanted to support a small team
because they
understand all of the challenges and difficulties faced when
a team is just
beginning. The Braun brothers visited the Brazilian Bobsled
Team in the
Olympic Village and created a special postcard to promote the
team and show
their support. The postcard and other photos from the winter
Olympics can be

The Braun brothers have invited the team to return to
Italy in November to
participate in the annual apple festival in Bolzano. KIKU is
looking forward
to continuing the relationship with CBDG as the Brazilian Bobsled
team
prepares for the next winter games in Vancouver 2010.
